Step by step instructions for your guests for TOU events

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS for the UNITY TAMBOURINE PROJECT YOU CAN PRINT AND HANG UP AT YOUR EVENT: (suggestion: laminate it so you can reuse it)

1. 🎨 Feel free to paint the background of your paper the color of your choice. Only once it’s dried completely are you ready to decorate it in the style of your choice.

2. 🤔 Decide what you would like to draw/design.

3. 💎 Take the materials you’ll need to design it, and feel free to place them where you think you want to glue them.

4. ✏ We recommend using a pencil and perhaps a ruler first, that way you can erase any mistakes before you paint and glue.

5. ✂ Once you are satisfied with your design. You can paint, color, cut, and glue as needed!

6. 👩‍🎨 Use the puff paints at the very end – they take very long to dry and will be in your way to continue decorating neatly.

7. 🖌 Please wipe each brush you use on the edge of the bowl you got it from—to avoid dripping—and return each paint or glue brush back into the same color or glue you got it from.

8. 🧽Use q-tips and napkins to clean up paint mistakes on the paper.

9. 🗑 Please throw out any used q-tips, napkins, tissues etc into the trash. Cleaning up will make things go smoothly and avoid further messes.

10 🎥 Please take pics of it-along with any women willing to be in the photo- before you leave:) It’s a special moment you’ll want to capture!

11. 🚿 Place and use bowls of water on your work surface to avoid going to the sink often.

Remember: anything you do artistically, will be beautiful!! When it’s your own work, it’s special! So, get creative and have fun!
